Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using FishLens - Fish Identifier, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our app. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Numan Haktan Kartal.
Eligibility
FishLens - Fish Identifier is not intended for children under 16 years of age. By using this app, you represent that you are at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the app.
Description of Service
Fish Identifier is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to identify fish species from photographs. Our services include:
• AI-powered fish species identification
• Personal catch logging and tracking
• Species information and details
• Location-based fishing insights using GPS data
• Third-party authentication via Google and Apple
• Analytics and advertising services
User Accounts and Security
When creating an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities under your account. You may not:
• Share your account with others
• Use another person's account
• Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
• Use automated systems to access the app
User Content and Upload Guidelines
You may upload fish images for identification. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, process, and store your images for identification purposes. You must not upload:
• Images containing personal information of others
• Inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Images that violate others' privacy or rights
• Content that is not fish-related when using identification features
Location Services
Our app may collect precise GPS location data when you grant permission. This data is used to provide location-based features and improve our services. You can disable location services at any time through your device settings.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
• Use the app for commercial purposes without permission
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our AI technology
• Submit false or misleading catch information
• Use the app to violate fishing laws or regulations
• Interfere with the app's operation or security
• Harass other users or engage in spam activities
• Collect or scrape data from the app
Third-Party Services
Our app integrates with third-party services including Google (login, analytics, advertising) and Apple (login, payments). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All payments are handled by these platforms.
Subscription Auto-Renewal:
Subscription services (Monthly Pro, Yearly Pro) will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription fee plus applicable taxes.
Cancellation Policy:
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period to avoid the next billing cycle. Refunds for the current period are not provided except as required by applicable law.
Price Changes:
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you of any price changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the subscription service after price changes constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Free Trials:
Free trial periods, if offered, will automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial period ends. You can cancel during the trial period without charge.
Service Availability
We strive to keep FishLens - Fish Identifier available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice.
Accuracy Disclaimer
While we strive for accuracy in our fish identification system, results are provided for informational purposes only. We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of identifications. Always verify species with local experts when in doubt.
Fishing Regulations
Users are responsible for knowing and following all local, state, and federal fishing regulations. Fish Identifier does not provide legal advice regarding fishing laws or regulations.
Privacy and Data
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our app, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
The FishLens - Fish Identifier app, including its AI technology, design, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our app without permission.

We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you upload content to our app, you must have the right to do so.
Copyright Infringement Claims:

• A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized

Response to Claims:
We will investigate valid copyright claims and may remove infringing content. Users who repeatedly upload infringing content may have their accounts terminated.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Numan Haktan Kartal from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.
Limitation of Liability
FishLens - Fish Identifier and Numan Haktan Kartal shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Turkey. However, this choice of law does not override your mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, United States, or any other jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those rights remain fully in effect and cannot be waived by these terms.
Dispute Resolution:
For commercial disputes, Turkish courts will have jurisdiction. However, consumers may also pursue claims in their local jurisdiction if permitted by their local consumer protection laws.
Data Protection:
For users in the European Union, GDPR applies regardless of governing law. EU users may address data protection matters through EU authorities and courts.
Changes to Terms
